Visa overview
Canadian passport holders normally require a visa to enter Vietnam. The Vietnam E-Visa, applied for online, is the most common route. An embassy visa is available for cases outside the E-Visa scheme. Rules can change, so please verify before travelling.

- Choosing single entry when the plan involves side trips to a neighbouring country.
- Providing a passport photo that does not meet the size or background rules.
- Booking a border crossing that is not a designated E-Visa entry point.
